A Daltec feeding system is always combined according to the current task
adapted to customer requirements.
Note the examples below:
-
Filling system. System with one feed mix.
-
2- and 3-phase systems. Systems with various feed mixes in
the same pipeline. In the 2- and 3-phase system slide gates are used
for the feed dispensers and outlets. With few changes existing units
can be rebuilt into 2- or 3-phase units.
-
Multiphase system (Filling)
With multi phase ad-lib feeding it is possible to mix and feed up
to 96 different blends from up to 48 feed components. The feed for
the individual pens is selected on a central control unit. The control
unit always knows the state and condition of both valves and hoppers
through a build-in network communication system.
-
Multiphase system (Sensor feeding)
Daltec sensor feeding gives a range of advantages: There is always
fresh feed in the feeders because feed is only distributed when a
feeder is almost empty. The sensor system also gives important information
about changes in the actual appetite and feed consumption of the animals.
With sensor feeding it is possible to feed different mixes and rations
to every single pen independently. As another advantage there is no
return feed in sensor feed systems.
-
System with Double Drive
All of Daltec's drive units are build upon the patented friction drive.
This gives the possibility to have systems with either 1 or 2 Drive
Units on the same feedline. In many cases it is usefull with a double
pull, which is a Drive Unit with 2 wheels.
